RISING TO REALISE

The night falls and the day starts to rise

Trying to make my life better like an enterprise

I keep trying hard so I can get a prize

But I keep falling short like it’s a surprise

I can’t quit because I can see the sun rise

So I get my shoes on and start to rise

I pick up my pen and start to summarize

So I can fit my story on a paper for me to memorize

What is life that every day we have to prioritize?

You have to quit one of them in order to realize

But thoughts of your dream help you to visualize

So that one day, you can learn to rise.
