Rising Shadows
A dark shadow on a moon lit night,
It grows darker than any in the light,
Larger, faster, strangling,
the prying eyes would be captivated in the calm,
As it grows and surrounds the world,
Fear finally sets in,
It is too late,
The moon is blotted out,
Along with the light of the world,
All is dark.
