Rising star
I'll always be drawn to others,
Like a moth is drawn to a flame,
But the same can be said when i'm in the equation,
I've done so much To get where i stand now,
So I won't let my light my presence be overlooked,
I will and shall be noticed by those higher and above me,
Counting all those stars in the sky,
The story of the souls leading me on,
I to wish to be a star that shines bright,
In that beautiful night sky to guide the lost,
All those times i've held back to support others,
The times i've stayed silent gritting my teeth and sighing,
I'm bored now….,
So It's my turn to be on the stage,
Making all hear my voice and opinions,
Making sure my words are heard and respected,
I won't take such disrespect,
,,,,Not anymore,
I won't demand your attention,
Neither will I take it,
So ill earn it,
Step by step,
Where I am now,
I'll earn it from everyone.
Not just attention,
But respect.
