Enter Crush.

It energizes, puzzles, and thrills,

with little force but great impact.

It is thin, paper-light,

yet it fills the entire space of a mind.

Enter Fear:

that I will fall rapidly in love with someone I do not know;

that I will fall in love with a mental construction instead of a person;

that whether it is based in reality or in fantasy,

the love that develops will have true emotional consequences.

So Enter Love,

with a hole for my aching heart.

Engulf me.

Former Army kid. Womanist. I'm studying sociology and French. I write for Arcadia University's online newsletter, The Bulletin, and student blog site, Because Arcadia. I spend most of my time writing and editing, conducting interviews, attending and reporting on events, reading, and collaborating on projects in my University's Communications office. I love comedy, podcasts, and thrilling movies. I once shook the hand of a United Nations Ambassador and felt pretty fly about it.
