Into the River Once More

In a wet, green land,

Forget-me-nots and lilies

Hold hands in a song.

In a wet, green land,

A witch sings very softly.

She is calling for the faeries.

In a wet, green land,

Cold mist veils her eyes.

Dew drops, or are they tears?

In a wet, green land,

One can hardly tell.

She stands where the tree fell.

In a wet, green land,

Now, we see the tears come.

Watch as they fall from her eyes.

In a wet, green land,

Watch how they fall into

The rivers. Yes, from her eyes.

She shivers, so cold,

Until finally, she dies.
