River Ran Dry

My river ran dry

i have nothing else to write

im so damn tired

every thing is numb

no point in trying to write

waste of time

nothing else to write think feel

im grey and empty

but of lists scrolling through assignments

mockingbird or graphing parabolas

or some other newfangled version of evolution

and lists of what to do and to not

dont drop the ball

do finish everything for everyone on time

busy busy busy busy

and yet the river ran dry
