Rizpah

Her tearful eyes painfully look up at the bruised feet and hands that she once kissed goodnight

dangling there for all to see, such a heartbreaking sight...

This mother's love was fierce, she held it together with all her might

She stood by her sons, protecting them with her firey love so bright

Her name means "Hot Stone" her brave heart burns for her family

Rizpah chased away the beasts that lurked towards her sons

She fought the cruel buzzards, even outnumbered she won
