The Road

Inside this less than perfect skin

is a person lacking where to begin

with hopes, dreams, and future goals

that will never be hers to hold

or so she thinks because she lacks

knowning where her life is at

the question of who am I?

is asked until her mouth runs dry

talent and beauty though are there

but what to do with that, she swears

is the most difficulat task of all

if she decides one road, she'll likely fall

so where to go and where to turn?

the only way to find is to learn

through countless mistakes and wrong routes

she'll oneday discover what life's about
