The Road Not Seen

It's a blur with all the commotion through the room.

Distracted from the constant chatter.

Inside my head I encourage him or her to project.

Everyone is adjusting,

We all know it is not the simplest thing to do.

I encourage him to develop a new strategic plan.

I challenge him or her, to adjust, not only to me but to us as a generation.

Blankly, I observe from the back of the room.

Thinking, Is it me or is it you?

As they rudely exit the room with their books in hand.

I sit and stay until the final words are spoken.

Knowing everyone of these words are beneficial to me.

My life, my path to success,

My endeavors, as well as my failures

The importance of listening to me and you.

To the end I stay and say

Is it me or is it you,

that yearns for success?
