Road To Success

A poet is what I am A doctor is what ill be All it takes is commitment And a growth in my maturity. I must be dedicated in school And stay out of trouble Get all of my work done, The opposite of a rebel. This road ahead will not be easy But nobody said it would There are people out there that doubt me But I told myself I could. My first year of classes are over And I realized I can make it Every opportunity I have to succeed in life I most definitely will have to take it. That is why I'm sitting on my couch Submitting scholarship applications So I can afford to get the education I need To be the best anesthesiologist in the nation.
