Road Trip to the Sunrise

Driving up the mountain just to see the sunrise

I saw something that really caught my eye 

I saw the trees that stand proudly in the summer

And I couldn´t help but say they reminded me of her 

For each branch was covered in snow

I´ve never seen them so low before

With the extra weight, you´d think they´d be aching 

But to me, they were absolutely stunning
