Roads to You

My thoughts start to wander,

Down roads forked in dozens.

I’m thinking of you

my feelings couldn’t be fonder.

So alone I’ll follow

these long winding roads.

Till you know how I feel.

I hope it’s tomorrow.

Happiness overcomes me

whenever our eyes meet.

I can’t hide my smile

but I’m scared that you’ll see.

Always I’m hopeful

that you’ll be the one thinking of me.

How I’d love to talk to you alone

But I’m sure you’d be more reproachful.

Please give me a chance

to show you my heart

I won’t let you down

if you just let us dance.

Most everything I write is unedited. Just whatever comes to mind. Feel free to judge, cause I don't take this super seriously.
