Robbed Of All Singing Hope

I only wanted
to pull myself
up from the defilement of dirt

to brush off
the rotting stink of it all

wash the bone dust
from my unresponsive shattered soul

and remove all
morbid twisted whispers
drapering over my
slowly beating heart

only to solely be
robbed of every
humane benevolence
one could earn
by there own true gifts

enslaved, is but,
a shallow word,
to what is happening
to my unblessed
flash

I am, now merely
a depravity of
a damned soul

and wondering
Is it just me (Just-us)
only?
