Robin's Egg

Steady. Vibrant. Quietly present.

Constantly reflective.

My throbbing desire to

dip into your aqua.

Soak me in your ever-changing flow

and leave me gasping for more.

If I could, I would

drown in your cerulean.

Crash into me so

I can feel you surrounding me,

electric.

Let me explore your darks and lights

and get drenched in sapphire.

Cyan. Colbalt. Midnight.

Light. I have never before

waken up to such a

beautiful enigma.

I have never wanted to

swallow the sky.

Hue after hue.

Endless shades of blue --

That's why you are

my favorite color.
