Robots truly understand nothing

Those seeking perfection

can chant the Heart Sutra

with the Buddha of Kodaiji

Searching for wisdom in the

aluminum silicon face

of a robot Bodhisattva

But the enlightened

no longer seek to understand

emptiness

for they know

A butterfly that lands on the palm

will be crushed

if grasped eagerly
