The Rock

She looked at me with some uncertainty,

When I followed her through the door that night.

I looked at her with secret mystery,

As I knew when she enteredt it would light.

She didn't know what was behind the foor,

And what was awaiting her was a shock.

When she saw it she sank towards the floor,

This was when I showed her a tiny rock.

I got down on one knee and said to her,

"You know I love you, so now let me show you.

What happens from then on is such a blur,

All I know is that she instantly knew.

Her eyes shined like gems in the moonlit night.

Her answer was yes, my world was made right.
