Rock Bottom
I don’t understand why people talk about hitting rock bottom like it’s a bad thing. I mean sure you’re sad at first and it’s a little uncomfortable, but after some time you get used to it. You make friends with your demons.
It’s when you realize they don’t want the best for you. It’s when you’re forced to try and climb back up, by your parents, by your friends, by yourself. That other side of you that knows this is not where you belong. That’s the hard part. You get so close and then fall back down into the bed you've made yourself.
But you will learn. You will try and fail and try again, and by the time you've reached the top you just might have learned to love yourself.
