Rock Bottom

Can you feel me barely breathing? Upon your arm; incessant beating A lonely heart inside my chest Slowing only to be put to rest. Cn you hear me barely talking? An empty corpse upright and walking A hungry girl, a drug abuser "Look at her! What a loser!" Can you smell my perfume long gone? The lingering scent of a life lived wrong. Bones protrude in gentle warning. Still, "It's like she doesnt try in the morning." Can you see me barely being? Just a shadow without feeling. Hoping for a saving grace before i'm gone without a trace. Can you taste my presence here? Just a ghost that's barely there. When you asked if i was eating, i lied But still, i loved you, because you tried. But you can't save me.
