Roll of Thunder

Roll of thunder hear my cry Because it’s loud and clear tonight There’s a broken booming echo, One only for my ear It’s the sound of the beating Of my broken heart’s despair Rain whips across my face But no, Rather tears in its place A storm is beating down No shelter to be found But I knew it would end this way He just didn’t want to stay
