Roller Coasters & Life


There...I can feel it.

Tearing…through my chest fighting to take over, but its too late.

The world has already begun to rush by in a blur.

My perception of time distorts, everything slows into nothingness.

Only the sky and I remain.

Reaching out my fingers kiss the endless seas above.

“This is it”, I say to myself. “there’s nowhere to go but down".

Down into the inevitable, the unkown, the fear.                                                                                                                                                           

Down to rise above.
