romance

r: the walls are painted with shadows of inanimate objects and our own bodies. a faded red glow covers every corner of the room, emitting off of the red neon light we found at an antique shop. everything, everything i look at. i see red. the walls, the sheets, my skin, your eyes. the glow of lust, risks, and the ever so small hint of fear. im still not sure if that fear is such a bad thing.

o: the air is cool and fresh, desbite the red glow making it seem otherwise. the breeze flowing through the window chills the air and brings us closer. there is no omittance between us, closeness is key.

m: the moon looms over us, peeking through foggy clouds through the blinds of your window. we lost track of time, but then again we didnt even need to know it. all sense of time was lost with the sun as it sunk behind the mountain to rest. it almost seemed as if we were the only ones on the planet, but only for one night, and we knew it. we had one night to ourselves and then that was it. and sweetheart, we both know that so much can happen in one night.

a: your touch was soft, but your grip was rough. your hands wrapped around my waist, my neck, my wrists, whatever you wanted. every part of you wanted me, and i was submitting to you. your fingertips traced over every scar and mark and outline, almost as if you were creating a map of me to keep in the palm of your hand. you place soft kisses on my neck, and suddenly my veins sparked and soon enough you had lit a wildfire inside of me. i soon became addicted to the feeling of your lips on mine.

n: every bone in my body ached for more and you knew it. i didnt mind the burn of your tongue or the feeling of the bruises on my chest, but the feeling of your teeth grazing my skin? it drove me insane and you fed on that. not quite soft enough to make me want to kiss your eyelashes and promise sweet things, and not rough enough to bite hard and taste blood. its a soft sting, and it leaves chills down my spine and earthquakes in my lungs. you loved how i sounded when you teased me like that.

c: heres the little bit of fear. if you wanted to, you could use me however much you wanted and i wouldnt say anything. you could kill me right then and there and id let you because id do anything for my lover. but thats the beauty of trust. and lover boy, i trust you with my life.

e: here we are, just us, spinning alone on this planet where time has seemingly froze just so we can have this moment together. even though we’re not sure why the universe has granted us this moment, we’ll revel in it for as long as it lasts. because what we have is euphoric, and my god do i want it to last.

seven letters, but a million different meanings.

you changed mine.
