Room 101

I am the last man

In front of a three way mirror

A voice beckons

Come hither, Come hither

I won't go, I can't.

Swallowing this sea

There's no one here but me.

I won't go, I can't.

Was walking the desolate streets

When, Oh, Julia you found me.

Teased me, reached me.

Beyond the ever

                             beckoning.

Come hither, come hither.

Divide between you and

                                    me.

I won't go, I can't.

There's more than a mind

that makes this

                            reality.

The sun, the trees

It can't all just be me.

Come hither, come hither

beckoning to me.

If I go

           hither.

I'll see the wither,

of the last man,

                             me.

(Inspired by George Orwell's 1984)
