The Room

Nobody talks about the feeling of coming back into the room where depression lives.

It’s now surrounding you, and suddenly, your needs can be ignored for weeks.

Your mind collapses under the pressure of those dreams, and at this point you, forget about peace.

Your body starts to feel numb, as if it’s now just a raw slice of meat that can be torn apart.

You start to stare at that wall-piece, and instantly, your arms turn cerise.

Your eyes now can’t allow those tears - it’s been too long from time when you´ve been, in a way, deceased

It feels like you must be an indris to please every single one of those who see.

But still, you end up in those saltwater streams, under the heel of those who once believed.

You start recalling memories and think how cherry red has become a shade that softens silent griefs.

In your arms, your worries cease, but there’s no doubt that time will grant release.
