Room of Reality

My room, it feels safe, It’s the only place I can’t see a single face. Except mine, My mirror haunts me. It makes me see the monster I’ve become. I want to see the innocent little boy, but reality won’t let me. I try to outrun reality, but it’s too fast. Guess reality slows me down. It’s relentless, I can’t sleep. I hear voices whisper, or scream. I can’t tell the difference anymore, It’s all the same to me.
