*The root of truth*
The root of the truth
hides in the truth of our root.
We see the pros in our cons
and share the cons in our pros.
A fatherless son
now turns
a sonless father.
Our culture may seem cultured
but our culture may neglect the cultured.
Eyes see the light of pasts
but our pasts never shed light.
Darkness enshroud visions,
visions we foresee in the dark.
A mother like no other
may become
a killer like no other, of husbands
Lies nestle comfortably within some truths,
for your truth might itself be a lie
Our end begins a chapter,
a chapter that begins awaiting its end
We take the right step
with the wrong foot
for what is left
might not be right
Answers we seek
hidden in sight,
blind we are
With our all-seeing eyes.
