roots

dear old friend,

we grew up together, our roots forever tangled

we grew up

and

a   p   a   r     t

into two separate beautiful flowers

just because roots cannot be seen

without digging up dirt from our past

does not mean they are not there

our roots full of memories will forever be

a part of me

 for they have made me

  the beautiful flower

    I have become

to see you blossoming as well as I is bittersweet

but I am unbelievably grateful

to have witnessed and touched

your roots

sincerely,

blossomed
