The Roots of Hatred

Where did it all start?

The hatred.

The slang.

The separation.

The one drop rule.

Why do we act as if

we aren’t related?

Is the man

with darker skin truly lesser?

No.

But he wasn’t the only to suffer.

Europe has always been divided.

So has Africa.

So has India.

So has Asia.

People like to be divided.

So it makes since that America join.

The English hated the French

Yet they were both white.

Africa has tribes;

The people choose to

war with each other.

Dark skin symbols

An untouchable

In India.

The Japanese don’t see

equals in the Chinese.

Why would Americans

Be any different

Than the rest of the world?

We started out different.

Our European ancestors,

Especially the English,

Hated everyone,

Even other whites.

They didn’t just hate other whites,

It was the Blacks.

The Chinese.

The Native Americans.

The Mexicans.

The new immigrants.

Then the white people forgot.

They forgot their original countries.

Now the hatred of the white man

Is just on the darker man.

The darker man stays darker

Because he works the field.

The white man stays white

Because he stays inside.

But the white man

Who stayed poor and worked

Was the redneck.

A demeaning term.

White trash worked the field.

This world was similar

To the world in India.

The darker your skin,

The more untouchable

You became.

This is just man’s mindset.

It is not just black and white.

Racism is just a new term

For a long history of hatred.
