Rosa Lee Charles

The 2nd mother you have

Her kisses could kill the worries of this world

Her hugs helped mend the pain

He laughs, oh her laugh, made time pause

Then you forgot your flaws

Her love was unconditional

Even when this family was dysfunctional

Her smile was like a million moons

That made the darkness you’re in much brighter

She was that lending hand that everyone needs

But now she is gone

Even though our hearts are saddened

We know that she is in a better place.

We understand why

Because God picks the best flowers

Rest peacefully my rose.
