Rose
To feel you
My fingertips holding your face so delicately
I trust you
My loyalty singed into your skin
I own you
You cut me
You're free
I can't claim what once was mine to begin with
I fixed your mental health
I'm here to blame
I take shame
But I'll never forget your name
Your wet lips against my soft skin
Your tender lies with sweet truth set in them
I lie to bury
I tell the truth so you can bare with me
Just don't leave me
And everything...everyone will be happy
Smiles on faces
Yellow roses
Red roses
Who knows maybe you'll fall in love from a stranger that only showed you love
Which is hard for you to see cause you never really recognized it's true beauty
Sadly you see only the ugly truth and the curves in a lie
Lies are addicting and truths are forbidden maybe that's why you're single and mistaken as garbage
I let my soul into your cold corpse and let the demons dance
Until my soul froze and escaped only to realize that you, are not my cape
I'm free
And I don't love the way you hurt me so I will not fantasize about you bleeding and begging for me
Because silly me your pricked the flower ignoring the thorns and now I'm numb and you're young, wild and free
Sorry for the depression I set out to be
Sorry for being the mistake you couldn't erase no matter how hard you tried
Sorry for being in love at the wrong time at the wrong place
