Rose Colored Glasses

Tender and everlasting is our love,

Peaceful and relaxing like a dove.

But, without it I can't endure,

as it is your love I must secure.

I can’t live without your sweet embrace

holding me gently with a firmness I can’t replace.

I can’t live without your hands on my face

caressing me softly with delicacy and grace.

I can’t see without these rose colored glasses

guiding me carefully as each moment passes.

I can’t hear without your warm, calm voice

welcoming me in this world; rejoice.

Tender and everlasting is our love,

Peaceful and relaxing like a dove.

And, without it I can't endure,

as it is your love I must secure.
