The Rose That Grew From the Concrete/ Black Butterfly

 Tupac Amaru Shakur/ Shakeena Jackson

Tupac-Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?

Shakeena- That grew in the Brooklyn neighborhood where the was no hope in repairing the sidewalks where cracks we’re prominent in the concrete pavement

Tupac- Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk without having feet. Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams,

Shakeena- Like a black Butterfly that only lives more than a day proving nature’s law to be incorrect and that it needs correction because

Tupac- It learned to breathe fresh air

Shakeena- No one is perfect so it took time and progress to learn to love nature and for the Black Butterfly and the Rose to become one

Tupac- Long live the rose that grew from concrete

Shakeena- Sidewalk that was able to have a small glimpse of hope

Tupac- When no one else ever cared
