The Rose Plant Grows

The rose plant grows.

One year, I've had the plant for one year. It's stem sprouting into tantalizing twists.

The rose plant grows.

Its leaves garnishing those lines with their broad spade shapes.

The rose plant grows.

Its roots invisible and important navigating for the nutrients it needs daily.

The rose plant grows.

And, of course, the petals, each individually enchanting, but truly awe-inspiring as a blossoming bud.

The rose plant grows.
