Rosealyn

A beautiful rose, full of life, full of beauty,

Placed on the path where a young man strolls,

Watered every day, taken care of gently

The young man, patiently waited;

patienty longed for a perfect day.

Struggles and sacrafices, yet the rose remined.

Storms, breakdowns, everything collapsed.

---the rose still remained.

Long while after joy came along, things seemed to be better

and the rose was still beautiful and well taken care of..

Smiles and giggles, love and hapiness.

A dream maybe, or maybe a fantasy.

--- but nothing of the sort.

Finally picked one day for a special girl,

----a princess, his daughter.

He said to her as he handed the rose to her,

"I will always care for you little miss Rosealyn"

and he did just like he did with the rose.
