Roses of The Square

People gather all around
They stand in silence
No need for sound
Round and round grows the crowd
In the square all hand in hand
They stand and stare up without a chant
Hoping and praying to obtain
The things they lack but to also maintain
The rights hard fought and in need to save
All begin to coven in the square
Sentries line the roof tops air
Steel in hand and ready to blare
But the people in the square are like a Rose
it holds power in its silence
Silence can pierce deeper than a sword.
And always opens to something more
