Roses 🥀

Roses aren’t always red.

Violets aren’t strictly blue.

Not every glimmer’s surely gold-

You’ll never really know the truth!

The world’s a scary place to live.

I’ve lost all hope; It’s hard to trust…

‘Cuz someone’s rose can stab their heart

Pretending to be angel dust!

They camouflage as upright men-

But honest folk don’t slaughter souls!

We’ll never know who’s good or bad

‘Cuz even roses lack control…
