No one ever said things would easy as you grew up
There's no more play time , but hard work and responsibility
They say high school is the best fours years of your life
The only best part of these four years is walking across that stage
As a graduate holding a diploma and ready to face the world
But then you learn how hard things can be and how difficult life
Can be, having this on going fear replaying like a broken record
In your head, a thought that wont go away and just sticks to you
It's like a demon clinging to your very soul and mind inputting these
Thoughts of negativity, fear, and regret, no one said life was easy
It's what you make of it, some will survive others won't that's life
We aren't meant to stay here forever, but that fear left by this demon
Still bothers us, the fear of living on our own, paying taxes, bills all this
And more, as we get older we learn to enjoy the little things of life and
To just keep going no matter how hard life can get, I mean we've come this far
Why stop

I personally thought this picture I drew would go along with the poem. But overall life does get hard and we run into situation that we sometimes cant handle or ever fore see for ourselves but have to learn to keep pushing ourselves to keep going on, and to tell ourselves that things will get better.
