Rough Skin on the Hands
One person that inspires me
The hardest working man there can be
Waking up at three in the morning, every day
Rain, snow, or heat
Always finding a way
This man I call dad
We may not always agree
Constantly bumping heads and sometimes fighting
But he is always there for me
Taught me everything I know
He turned me into the man I am today
And he will never let me go
I love this man with all my heart
And I fear the day God splits us apart
I wanna stay in Daddy's arms but it is time to grow up
Time to leave for school, find a job, be my own man but it hurts and it throbs
But it's time I live on my own
I'll always be your little boy dad
And you'll always be my old man
Don't forget about me your son, Ian
