For A Round-Headed Dumbie With A Round Bed

I miss your heart and your goofy smile, I thought about you today for the first time in awhile. I miss your round belly, I miss your round head, But most of all, I miss your round bed. All of these things seem so unending, Because circles go on, with no corners pending. But I must remember that day it all slipped away, On this smooth-edged earth, I could not stay. Oh you were my world, no corners attacking, It's hard not to compare when so much is lacking. But I don't sit here alone, dwelling I say, I'm happy and peaceful, ready for the new day.
