A Route of Freedom

Poems capture beauty

They describe a living scene

They talk about the real world

Things everyone can see

If you've ever seen a sunset

Splashes of color in the sky

Or gazed upon a rainbow,

That place where bluebirds fly.

A warmness crept inside your heart

That could not be escaped

Unless you grabbed a pen or pencil

And described the whole landscape.

Thoughts bounce around inside your head

You need to let them out

So write a pretty poem

That's what they're all about.

Poems help you find your freedom

When everything seems tight

Don't force it down inside you

But let your heart take flight.
