Routine

The day passed quickly.

Everything a whir,

The faces blurring in front of me,

Voices falling on deaf ears,

The meanings of words ignored.

Rushing through the monotony,

Ignoring the uniqueness of each day,

Trying to just get through the daily grind,

Only to do it all over again.

The day passed quickly,

Everything a whir.
