i'm not going to be

at the bottom of your checklist

because you forget i'm a priority

like you forget to eat your breakfast

i'm not your last minute school project

i'm not "going through the motions"

because you knw damn well by now

not to play with my emotions

so if you keep this up

you might lose me

because i deserve effort
