Roxanne
Her name rolls off my tongue,
like water on the sand after the first wave.
Smooth.
He writes I like you,
She says I know.
He says I love you,
more than you know.
She writes you're crazy,
you're out of your mind.
He says but I've found what
I've been trying to find.
She says you act like I'm lost.
Like I'm something you left behind.
He writes stay with me
She says don't leave me,
in the end
they're falling.
Loved you once
love you still,
Always have,
always will.
