Dear Baby Boy,

The thought of conception is yet to be conceived. The constant brrutal killings of Mothers' babies is what now makes you thought of. The possibility of life being nourished inside of me will make me cry before I even know your gender. I'm not giving them another life to take. When they say it's a boy, I will claim you as a soldier. I will raise you against their stereotypes. You won't have to lose your life to a cell or a coffin before you even get the chance to live it. I will bathe you in Malcolm and fill your dreams with Martin. Baby boy I ask of you to use your scripturers as a weapon. The sound of gunshots are way too familiar. These weighted hearts are a little bit too similiar. These cries are a little bit too contagious. This finger eweeen the index and ring finger is a little bit too bold but it's there for a reason. Don't you ever neglect your brown skin. I need you to rep this before you rep any hood because a white man can buuy your set and turn it into the suburb. When you get hurt I won't be the one to put a band aid on your scars and kiss your boo boos. Life's gonna hurt you. God forbid but if you ever catch a bullet, an adhesive strip with a bit of cotton won't be able to stop the bleeding. So to my little soldier, my heart goes out to you.Keep your aim, don't let yourself lose focus. Once you have triggered their awareness of your being, aim for their heads.
