Ruby

11 years old I get the news I will have a new baby cousin Ruby will be her name The name of my great grandma Now my baby cousin shall carry that on It’s a lot to live up to But it is believed she deserves it Ruby will be her name She not here yet Doctors say she never will They doubt her Before she even has a chance Rube will be her name No one listens to the doctor We won’t give up on her Everyone deserves a chance Ruby will be her name I have a cousin Stronger then I A smile so wide A laugh that never stops Wont let a tear fall form your eye Proves people wrong No attention is given to the wheel chair For she is all smiles Ruby is her name i have a cousin Who opened my eyes And my heart just the same She not just my cousin For she is my hero Ruby is her name
