The Ruin of Spring

The beauty of spring

As winter fades away

The flowers pop up

From the once frozen ground

The sun

It shines

The ground

it thaws

The rain

It starts

A single drop of rain

Is shed from the sky

A dark cloud rolls in

And the ground becomes damp

The rain

It pours

The wind

It screams

The spring

It fades

The intensity rises

As the storm loses control

The skies turn to chaos

And the sirens start to blow

A rain

So harsh

A wind

So strong

A storm

So cruel

A tornado has formed

And nothing is safe

A storm like this

Will take everything away

A house

No more

A tree

No more

A town

No more

The beauty of spring

Has faded away

The storm ruined it all

Nothing was safe.
