Rule of 3

Today marks day 17
I can't explain what I've seen
On what to pack I was not keen
Oh what a fool I have been

I really am in the worst state
Because on number 3 to date
My only possesion I have ate
Now I've realized my worst fate

My stomach no longer growls
It's more like an empty howl
My body giving me a scowl
For selfish actions more than foul

And now I remember the rule of 3
Begin the countdown of what will be
How many days are left for me
I guess we will just have to see

14 days since my mistake
My willpower easy to break
My body now begins to ache
Why oh why did I eat my only steak
