the rules of survival (book by Nancy Werlin)

I don't understand... why she will put us in danger to say we love her why we were born into this why she thinks it's best for us But most of all... why she was born this way why she thinks it's okay to abuse why she doesn't think I will fight back What I understand most is... why I am in danger why I need to get us out of here why Nikki doesn't deserve us.
