Rumor
She, he and I
arm over shoulder
having a great time
walking down the hall.
We would do that
every single day
until one venomous person
decided to ruin it all.
She stood in the corner
waiting, watching, wondering
inventing a lie
that would destroy all.
One day he spoke to me
the next, not a word
she got what she wanted
she set fire to it all.
Because she, he and I no longer walk the halls.
