Rumpelstiltskin

Once upon a time, lived a miller and his daughter.

One day, summoned, by the word of the King.

"What shall you pay me, to avoid your own slaughter?"

The miller replied, "I have not, I am poor."

In fear, the miller wove a lie, to protect his own life!

"My daughter,  weaves straw into gold!"

Blinded by greed, full of strife,

the King believed what he had been told.

Without a moment to spare,

the girl was brought to King.

"Weave my straw into gold by morning, or choose death"

Locked away was she, full of dispair.

Just before moring, the girl sobbed and screamed,

Until a man, Rumpelstiltskin, came before her

"I will help you", he gleamed!

He wove straw into gold,

and gave her warmth in this cold.

Upon morning, the King jumped for joy and glee,

"You will now be my wife, and bare children with me!"

A year came to pass, the child, born into this land.

What the king did not know, he way not the only man!

Until Rumpelstiltskin returned, demanding he take his rightful child;

the millers daughter wove her own lie, yet she was never defiled.
