Rumpelstiltskin: Rewritten

Tales you've heard before aren't all that they seem

One such story is the tale of Rumpelstiltskin

Katherine, the miller's daughter could indeed turn straw into gold

In return, the greedy King held her prisoner since she was a child

Lo and behold she quickly grew to resent him, her

Light went out and darkness formed in her heart

And on one fateful night, a little man appeared with a dark proposal

Katherine quickly agreed to run away with him in return for this favor, they struck

I n the night while the castle slept, when

Night left the castle awoke to discover the King's body torn to pieces

G one was the girl and the little man who helped her; all that was left behind was a gleaming card in the King's heart that reads:

Rumpelstiltskin
